Description: Mass multiplication of Trichoderma asperelloides strain 5R on liquid media and solid organic substrate yielded 5X1011 spores per ml and 1.6X1011 spores per gm respectively. When applied it enhanced the disease resistance of grapevines to various foliar diseases, especially powdery mildew. Inoculation can be done by soil drenching.
