  • Dr. R. G. Somkuwar has standardized canopy architecture of Tas-A-Ganesh table grapes trained to flat roof gable system of training to achieve production of quality grapes. He has standardized cultural practices (shoot orientation, shoot density, bunch load, stage of girdling and pruning position and pruning time) to achieve quality grapes.
  • He has evaluated performance of Thompson Seedless grapes grafted on different rootstock and also standardized the stock and scion age for grafting, period of grafting, shoot diameter for multiplication of rooted cuttings, season for multiplication of rootstock cuttings.
