“Demonstration on Pre- and Post-harvest Sampling of Fruits and Vegetables for Agrochemical Residue Analysis”

National Referral Laboratory, ICAR-NRC for Grapes, Pune is pleased to announce a one-day virtual training program on “Demonstration on Pre- and Post-harvest sampling of fruits and vegetables for agrochemical residue analysis”. The program is organized as part of our “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”- a Government of India Initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence.
Course objectives:
The primary focus of this training will be to deliberate the procedure for pre-harvest and post-harvest sampling of fruits and vegetables for pesticide residue analysis as per the APEDA regulations.
The specific objectives of this training are as follows:
- Familiarization and virtual demonstration on pre-harvest sampling of grapes and pomegranate for pesticide residue analysis
- Familiarization and virtual demonstration on pre-harvest sampling of grapes and pomegranate for pesticide residue analysis
You will learn about:
- Overview of residue monitoring plan (RMP) of APEDA for control of pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables
- Documentation requirement for various sampling procedures
- Pre-harvest sampling of grapes and pomegranate for pesticide residue analysis
- Post-harvest sampling of vegetables for pesticide residue analysis
- Packaging and transport of samples to the laboratory- Do’s and Don’ts.
Interested laboratories are requested to nominate their laboratory samplers on or before 4th September, 2023. The filled registration form may please be communicated to apedanrlpt@gmail.com on or before the deadline. A maximum of 50 participants only will be accommodated for this online training and confirmation will be given on first come first serve basis.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee for this one-day virtual training will be as given below;
Up to 5 participants= Rs.10,000.00 + 18% GST=Rs. 11800.00
6-10 participants= Rs.20,000.00 + 18% GST= Rs.23600.00
11-15 participants= Rs.30,000.00 + 18% GST= Rs. 35400.00
